| Why does this always happen to me? |
[12 Mar 2008|10:08am] |
Why is it that no matter how hard I try at something, I prove how pathetic I am by being on the borderline. This is mostly on school. I understand that college is supposed to be hard, but how can it be that when I try my darnedest, I am struggling just to pass. For about three of my classes, I'm pulling about a 55% and I need at least a 65% to pass and there are five weeks left in the year.
Now I have the large part of my brain that is starting to shut down into "this is going to be impossible, I'm gonna fail anyway" mode and I really want to get further into this course because I don't have anything else to fall back on and I really want to continue on with school to prove that I'm actually worth something to someone down the road.
There is just so much work pilling up and I'm trying to squeeze everything into it's own little time space, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm trying to force my brain and everything else into overkill to make everything work by the end of the year so that I can continue into second year - that way I don't feel like I shouldn't even try anymore.
I hate this, but I'm gonna put my ass into overtime and try REALLY hard to get what I want.

| Chapter 77 Summary! |
[10 Nov 2007|12:57pm] |
Chapter 77, "Reverse Transmutation Circle" (Interim chapter title by me till I read the raw and find out more about this chapter. ^^)
Pic of Ed with golden eyes, with lots of animals ??. (I have to wait for the raw to find out what it really looks. ^^)
------------------ Now with the chapter summary... the story continues from the last chapter, where Ed is at the bottom of mine shaft with a steel pole sticking through his side...
Ed is half conscious. In his mind, he is recalling words from Riza, Al, and Winry. Ed: "I can't make her/them (not sure yet.. have to read the raw ^^) cry." Ed breaks off the steel pole with his Alchemy, and also help out Chimera solders from under the rubble.
Ed falls on the ground. Chimera solders are worried. Ed asks to pull out the steel poll. Ed use Alchemy to close off the wound.
With heavily injured body, Ed tries to chase Kimbley. Lion Chimera solder carries Ed on his back.
Ed loses consciousness on Lion Chimera's back. Worried about Ed, Chimera solders decide to find a doctor instead of Kimbley. It seems their loyalty to Kimbley is all gone.
On the way, they pick up the Philosopher's Stone.
Al is being disassembled and being carried away. Al gains consciousness. Al: "This is the second time I've lost the consciousness." Marcho: "We have to carry you in pieces for a while."
Scar and the company settle in an abandoned hut.
Mei remembers Marcho's words to Al about disassembling Al in pieces, and struck with an idea.
Mei takes Scar's brother's research notes, and loosens the seam and disassemble the pages. Mei: "This notes talks about Gold and Immortality repeatedly, using many words with subtle differences in the expressions. What happens if we disassemble the pages and layer the pages by the part that has the same word...."
They layer the pages by the words and draw connecting lines. They form the transmutation circle for the Philosopher's Stone, as Marcho had already predicted before. Marcho: "We needed to find the way to reverse this crisis, else we will suffer enormous casualties... " They are rather disappointed.
Yoki sneezes. Blowing away the pages.
Al: "Oh no, the pages are all lose again. Which one was the right side... ?!" Now Al is struck with an idea.
Al: "Reversing.." "This.. Crises!!" Without changing the position of each page to others, but this time, the lines form another pentagon in the center of the drawing. Mei: "Incorporating Rentanjitsu, this is a new transmutation circle for the Amestris country!"
Kimbley is going further into the mining tunnels, searching for Scar. Realizing that there seems to be no sign of recent visits by men, decides to return back, then notices a door marked with an x. The place seems to have been used to carry away the stones and debris produced by Sloth's digging.
Suddenly, shadowy eyes appear over Kimbley's head. "How do you do. I am Pride." Pride orders Kimbley to search for Scar later, and instead to carve a seal of blood on Briggs.
Kimbley tells that it is going to be difficult as Briggs soldiers are working as if one solid monolith.
Pride: "You must use that solidness." Pride: "The tunnel Sloth is digging will be completed soon."
Basement of the Central. Selim Pride is with Father. Father: "Hurry, fast, fast, THAT DAY is approaching right around the corner."
Caption: "The PLAN has already reached the final stage...!"
------------------------------ (End of Chapter 77)
Whoa, I sense the footsteps of the climax approaching..... !! She might just make the 100 chapter mark she wanted !

| Girl's Day Out! |
[26 May 2007|10:02am] |
Friday was fun!
I went to Ottwaw to meet up with my friend Kaela. We walked over to the Anime Stop on Merivale to do a little shopping and torturing her with all the Tsubasa stuff they had, like black and white Mokona cup holders, they were so CUTE!!
We then took the bus to her place and felt good to get out of the heat! She showed me a wierd little Advent Children video on Youtube, very funny! After a few glasses of apple juice, her mom drove us to the mall on her way to Pilates.
We went to Wal-Mart to grab some snacks for the movie. On the way, Kaela opened her 7-up and it foamed all over the ground. She still had a lot left and I laughed at her.
We bought our tickets for Spiderman 3 and sat down. I handed out the snacks that we snuck in via my backpack and I opened my pop. I got the usual little fizzy noise on mine...until it foamed all over my hand, and then Kaela laughed!
The movie was really cool! Emo Peter is a jerk! The graphics were amazing and Venom is cool!
After the movie, we went back to Kaela's place and started to work on my gloves for my Pride Ed cosplay. I had to leave them there cause we didn't have a lot of time to do it and we didn't want to rush it, so she might mail them to me! Yay!
Well, that's all for now!

Hopefully I can get throught the first semester of this course unlike it was for Animation. Wish me luck in the new year!

"I Need you To Love Me" - Barlow Girl |
] |
After reviewing a few of the communities and liustening to others who have sworn on thier souls have admitted that this was true, in the Fullmetal Alchemist manga....the sought-after identity of Pride has finally been revealed.
I'm not going to spoil it here, you'll have to do your own snooping if you want to spoil it for yourself as I did (I can't help it...SHUT UP!!!!)
Believe me, this totally caught me by suprise and did not suspect the identity but after again reading the clues that others have pointed out...it gave away a lot if you actually paid attention.

| Costume Scraped and A Farewell to a Factory. |
[22 Feb 2007|05:31pm] |
Well, my Armony cosplay comstume is a bust. I went to Value Village and asked if they had any Halloween stuff left over and they said that they were packed away in a box and they didn't know where they were!! I guess I'll have to trey Malabar's and see if they have what I'm looking for for cheap. If I can't get anything done for that, I'll go to plan B. Get an Envy-type costume and go as a brunette Pride!!! YAY!!!!
On the other side, the beloved Hershey factory located in Smiths Falls may leave us forever. The emplotees were told today that the plant will close by the end of the year, but has yet to be verified by the company's bigwigs. Gone will be the days of going in and smelling the chocolate wafting in the air and the tour, watching the people making those tasty treats. Gone will be the days of buying those ginormus bags of broken chocolate bar bits for one helluva good deal. And the hundreds of employees losing thier jobs because of this.
That's all for now.

Not much going on to make an interesting journal entry but I'll write one anyway. First of all, my icon credit goes to peach_jello.
School is going well, I just get really bored on Thursdays because I have nothing to do since my only class that day is at 4pm! It's really dull unless I have homework that I can do in the Mac labs, other than that I got to the arcade in the Rotundra (like a cafetreia) and talk to my geeky friends and sometimes blow a few quarters on Soul Caliber 2 on Conquest mode...still stuck on Gold Leuitenant.
I downloaded a 40-day trial of Adobe Premiere 6.0 and I have no idea of how the hell to use it and I'm planning of using it to do a FFMV that I want to do (FFMV- Fan Fiction Music Video, a new invention of mine). I'm planning of making two different versions of it, same footage, different songs. The two that I chose are "Never Alone" by BarlowGirl (don't know which version to use though) and "Memories" by Within Temptation. The video will kinda be like my "Tortured Mind" AMV, but not as angsty, half will be manga scans and the others will be hand drawn by yours truly.
Um...what else? I'm making lasagna tonight! W00t!
I'm making plans for a cosplay outfit for CAnime this year. I'm planning to go as Armony from Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel (do a Google search). I've never seen a cosplay of her and I want to do it. I just gotta go to Value Village and see if the have any Halloween stuff left over in the back, all I need is a a wig and a pair of wings- that'll be using my birthday money when it comes up and I gotta do it before school lets out.
Last thing, my 2006 video may be delayed. I forgot to videotape my friends dancing when they were over and I so wanted to. So I'm going to have them over before my birthday and we'll do it then. Then all I have to do is get the CNAniem footage and it should be up soon, hopefullty YouTube.com will let me put it up, it's over 9min already!!!!
Well that's it for now. Let's see of what I can do for my March break now and try and find a stinkin' job!!!!

| Harry Potter VII Title!!!!! |
[21 Dec 2006|03:46pm] |
This is an important article from Yahoo! to all Harry Potter Fans!:
Rowling's U.S. publisher, Scholastic, Inc., released a brief statement Thursday announcing the name of the world's most anticipated children's book, the finale to her phenomenally popular, seven-book fantasy series.
No publication date or other details were offered. Rowling is still working on the book, she wrote on her website in an entry posted early Thursday.
"I'm now writing scenes that have been planned, in some cases, for a dozen years or even more," she wrote. "I don't think anyone who has not been in a similar situation can possibly know how this feels: I am alternately elated and overwrought. I both want, and don't want, to finish this book (don't worry, I will.)"
She gave no new clues about what will happen in the book. Previously she has said two characters will die and hinted Harry might not survive. (WHAT THE HELL!?!?!?!!?!?!??)
The publisher says the title of the book is "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!! This week is so not going the way I planned! My friend Kitty and I were planning to go to AC Cubed this weekend, but she couldn't get off work for that weekend. I still want to go and attend the AMV awards thingie!! I want to see how mine did.
ALSO, my copy of Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa Limited Edition (wow that was a lot to write!) was supposed to come out today and I was all ready for that wonderful call to let me know it's there, but I'm told that it won't be avaliable until around Friday!!!! I'll have to get it this weekend before I go insane!!!
So my plan is to see if I can get my mom to take me with her this weekend and see what I can get done with the above and squeeze in another driving lesson.
Waa!!!
